Treatment Standard

Untreated wood fiber is a food source for fungi, bacteria and insects. By treating timber with a chemical preservative the wood fiber is eliminated as a potential food source. And this means no organically caused destruction like rot or decay.

Our suppliers use ACQ, a copper based preservative for timber for internal and external applications of both ‘ground contact’ and ‘above ground’ usage. This has been approved for use around the world.
